That's how long I've been Chloe's mommy. Or 2 whole years today if you are trying to do the math in your head. It's crazy that this amazing, way over curious little angel baby has been with us for 2 years. Seems like yesterday that we were sitting in the Civil Affairs office in Nanjing waiting for Chloe and her nanny to arrive. I still remember thinking that these people can't be crazy enough to give us another sweet little baby girl -- or can they. Well they did just that. That day makes the top 5 on my list of the best days of my life. That day -- February 1st, 2010 -- made our little family complete. Chloe is/was the perfect addition to all three of our lives. God's plan is always right and he did a perfect job in matching us up with the perfect daughters.
Chloe is still the most gentle, kind, forgiving, always happy, sometimes-defiant, loving, little girl. And she loves to be gross and give me puppy kisses -- that makes her giggle the most. Basically she will lick my lips at the last minutes to be funny -- however, I think it's gross. And that makes her do it that much more. And I love her for it -- in a strange sort of way.
In the past week or two Chloe is showing all her teachers (art, gymnastics, & dance) that she can talk non-stop and be completely silly with her little stories. We get to see that all the time with her but now she has decided to show the world her funny side.
Chloe had also really grown. She's now 38 7/8 inches tall. And actually taller now at 43 months than Cassie was at 43 months. Right now Cassie is still 1/4 inch taller -- but I'm thinking this summer Chloe just might take the lead in height. And the crazy thing is her legs are getting so long. I guess I just assumed her body would grow all together. But I guess not. Chloe is also about 33 lbs right now -- just like her sister.
With our past Disney trip and us planning another one the girls are really into princesses so here's Chloe posing with her new Belle nightgown on from last night.
