From Sonny - A word about China, and about grace.

China, or at least the little slice of China we have seen from Kunming, is a very interesting place. The people, the sights, the food, the history - all experiences that can be had nowhere else in the world. Aside from the fact that we have been handed the gift of a lifetime in Cassie, our trip to China has been very educational and very rewarding. I have had the good fortune to travel to Mexico, India, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, the U.K., and now China. These are all experiences I never dreamed I would have. In fact, there was a time in my life when I would have declined the privilege. What a fool. Now I see things very differently and recognize my good fortune to have been able to do these things.

And then of course, there is Cassie. I would go to the moon and back for her. Cassie is China's gift to our family. A gift which we could not possibly have earned, and cannot possibly deserve. The grace of God knows no boundaries.

What a Daddy... you have me crying. What a beautiful sentiment.

I'll second that, as well as the tears. You couldn't say it any better.

Ditto. Tears streaming.

Wow! What a message little Cassie will enjoy hearing from her Daddy one day. God is gracious indeed!

Oh goodness Sonny, you got my tears going too. How beautiful. You and Sherry both deserve your precious little one though. God is great and he made sure to put Cassie right where she belongs, in your arms forever.

Reading this is the most perfect way to end my crazy day. Makes it all worth it. What great words and sentiment Daddy. Now I will try to stop crying so I can read the next post.
